Since 2000, Cable Tech Global has been leading the charge to develop non-lead PVC compounds that far and away exceed the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety & Health Administration's and Environment Canada's requirements governing acceptable lead levels in the workplace and in our landfills.

The forward-thinkers at Cable Tech Global are working closely with Health Canada by way of the Electrical Engineering and Manufacturing Association of Canada (EEMAC) to provide input on Health Canada's position on lead risk reduction strategies for consumer products. Overseen by Electro-Federation Canada (EFC), the EEMAC members manufacture distribution equipment, industrial controls, lighting, motors and generators, transformers, wire and cable and wiring supplies.

In fact, one of a kind compounds, designed specifically for the bourgeoning wire and cable industry, are engineered in-house. Rest assured!
